Very happy VW customer.
We observed an intermittent short noise and because this noise only lasted a few seconds, as you could imagine this was not a simple and easy one to pin down. Intermitted problems of any kind is hard to track down and you need the best and highly experienced and professional technical people for it. The good news is the elusive noise got tracked down and problem resolved. The credit goes to the good folks at VW Camberwell because they could have easily given up on us, saying it is too hard, you are imaging it, etc. But the whole VW Camberwell folks right from the Office support people, to their best technical people like Carlo, Ben, Peter, Robert and many others, just kept listening to my story on the noise, kept asking good probing questions and kept drilling down on the problem and of course they have located it in the transmission. Must say all this happened without me requiring to escalate anything with their management. There are many service outfits in Melbourne but very few with highly dedicated and qualified and experienced people who care and want to fix your problem and prepared to walk the extra miles for you. . Am i happy ? you bet ! Why not check them out yourself ? This is the reason why we have trusted them and purchased the Tiguan and only allow them to service our car. That is what I call customer service
Credit where credit is due! Camberwell VW customer service is second to none. In light of a serious safety issue that was not covered by extended warranty (a complaint I will up with VW Australia rather than the dealership) I found that the service manager at Camberwell went above and beyond his duty of care. He put my safety, as 6 mnth pregnant woman ahead of what I am sure VW would have advised against (which was made apparent when I dealt with Bayside VW that showed no interest in helping me explore my options). Having my vehicle repaired (at VW cost) could have been very difficult. Instead the service manager at Camberwell simply dealt with me logically, compassionately and very professionally. He offered to pick up my car, repair it promptly and provided a courtesy vehicle. Now THAT is what I call customer service - keep up the good work Camberwell!

Just took my car in to get it fixed up after I was told it apparently had some issues where the car would shudder at lower speeds during take off. Was worried that I as my car was out of warranty, I would have to pay a hefty fee to fix it (3k to 4k). My polo gti had severe running issues and the engine light come on, so I took it straight into Camberwell VW. Ben and the service team assessed the issues and had an outcome within 10 mins. Ben went above and beyond and spoke to VW head office regarding the issue, he was able to obtain the parts on warranty, even though the warranty had expired over a year ago. Excellent experience with getting the DSG repaired on my 2013 Jetta. My service advisor, Nitin Khadalia went above and beyond to make sure I was kept informed of the repair progress and managed to get the needed part express delivered. Nitin was also able to secure a courtesy car to minimise the disruption of not having our car. And, thanks to VW Australia for coming to the party and owning the repair cost. I was visiting Melbourne from Ballarat and had trouble with my VW golf. A relative recommended to go to Bayford Volkswagen as they had had great service from them in the past. I cannot recommend Bayford Volkswagen highly enough especially the service I received from Nitin Khadalia. I arrived late in the afternoon and they were more than happy to check out my car which ended up needing to be left there for repair. Nitin went above and beyond, he kept me regularly updated and explained what, why and how the problem would be fixed. Picked up the new Tiguan (1FX5VT) last Thursday evening, went for a big drive with my wife on the weekend; great car.
Robert Sultana looked after me all the way, from arranging the initial test drive the week before to handing over the keys on Thursday. The car is for my wife who unfortunately couldn’t do the test drive as she had broken her ankle earlier on the day of the test. Graciously Robert allowed me to drive the car to my home where I was able to show my wife the car, and took her around our streets so she could get a feel of the Tiguan. Drove the car back to Robert later in the day and we started to negotiate. What was comfortable with the process was that Robert was easy to talk to about the car etc and answered all my queries. The Tiguan is the second new VW we have bought from Bayford in 3 years, we came back as with the first car we bought, the sales process was just as easy and comfortable and no pressure.

He was extremely easy to work with - I was unable to pick up my car Mon-Fri due to my work constraints and he worked it out so I could pick it up on a Saturday morning which was very thoughtful of him. He was a great communicator and followed up with me during the week, which kept me in the loop as to where the car was at etc. He is very approachable and very down-to-earth!

I went to Bayford Volkswagen because of the high service rating the firm receives on the Web.
Initially I was somewhat disappointed as I went to your showroom early on a Saturday but was told that you had to pre-book a test drive on a Saturday. We did a short drive that day. Subsequently I booked a test on a Friday. When I arrived, the sales consultant I had originally dealt with and had booked with was on a test drive with another prospective customer.
After 10 minutes or so, Seyhan spoke to me. From that time forward, the service provided by Seyhan was exemplary. He explained why a spare saver was the right choice, although previous advice was that I could purchase a full spare without having an issue (notwithstanding that it would not properly fit in the boot).
We identified that the SatNav systems did not appear to be working correctly in the Jettas and Seyhan arranged for the head unit to be replaced before the vehicle was delivered to me. On the test drive, he showed me some of the driving features of the Jetta. On delivery, he explained many of the features of the vehicle, while we were sitting in it. He also set up the Bluetooth connection, which was helpful.
He also kept me informed about likely delivery date, which was 3.5 weeks after I signed the contract. Overall, I would give Seyhan a rating of 9.5/10 and recommend him to other customers.

Seyhan at VW Camberwell is absolutely astounding. I understand the sales process, and I am sure I was an extremely annoying customer in some regards - but Seyhan was incredibly helpful, insightful and professional through our entire sale. I first came to Seyhan 4 months ago looking at either a Golf or Polo, he took the time to tell me all about them and give me the little bits of information that I would find awesome - knowing full well that I couldn't commit to a sale for some time. This continued through the months, asking him a question here and there, until today when I went into the dealership and signed on the dotted line. I also wanted to flag how above and beyond he went providing me with outstanding customer service.. I didn't eat breakfast that morning, and our appointment ran longer than we both expected. While we were waiting for the internet to process, Seyhan ran next door and bought me a bit of food to keep me going. WAY above what I would expect, and just goes to show that he doesn't treat his customers as a commission cheque as the sale was already done at that point. He could quite have easily moved onto someone else, but wanted to make sure I was comfortable and happy (and not passing out). Genuinely amazing service that I greatly appreciate. Thank you Seyhan!

We were greeted by Costa Tsiongas, who was patient with me, went through the car and did not put undue pressure on me as other dealers might have. This was the first car I purchased and the staff at Bayford were very considerate and helped me through the process. From my perspective the service was quite amazing. You may be able to get a cheaper price elsewhere, however with Bayford you know you will have support the entire time you have the car and I think that’s really important.

Still under statutory warranty, the service staff did not hesitate to foot the bill for an expensive clutch replacement where other dealers may have tried to convince me there was nothing to worry about. During the recent search for a new car we had VW Golf as one of the shortlisted cars. Searching for a dealer to go for the test drive we have made decision based on 2 criteria, being variety of driving environments in the vicinity of the dealership and, quite by accident, Google review scores. Bayford VW in Camberwell was the decision. After a quick phone call we have turned up relatively late in the day and were greeted by Seyhan Isen. We found Seyhan to be very courteous and easy to deal with. He has established that we have done a decent “preparation” and has quickly moved from explaining the basics to the more advanced features of the model. Thanks to Seyhan, during the test drive we were able to experience quite a variety of road conditions, from the suburban streets with speed bumps to 100km/h freeway. My questions on DSG behaviour in stop-start driving on inclines were immediately addressed by a detour to a hilly street and multiple uphill starts and “crawling”. Commercial part of negotiations was equally efficient and productive, with no urging to close the deal even if we were the last people left in the shop, well passed closing time on a public holiday. Seyhan has diligently kept us informed with the expected delivery date over next couple of weeks, and since few days ago we are proud owners of a new VW Golf. Seyhan did an excellent job, and we hope that our ownership experience will be as positive as the purchasing one.

During a recent visit to Bayford VW I received the call no car owner wishes to receive, "Sir, you need a new transmission!". Little did I know, service advisor Frank Kalkavouras had already commenced discussions with Volkswagen, appealing to have the repairs covered by Warranty.
